Pomeroy Challenge
The Pomeroy Challenge is a four-day rally exclusively for members of the Vintage Sports-Car Club in pre-war cars. Organised by the experienced Three Castles team, it follows the same overall route and enjoys the same halts as the Three Castles Trial.
About the rally
Each of the three main rallying days will be shorter than a Three Castles Trial day, averaging around 110–130 miles. Sections of the route may be omitted, altered or shortened, and some tests and regularities adapted to make the event more suitable for older cars.
Competitors will still enjoy the same high standard of organisation, accurate information, support, hospitality and camaraderie associated with the Three Castles.
We intend to run a maximum of fifty cars. Whether you are an experienced rally competitor or taking your first steps in the VSCC, the Pomeroy Challenge offers an enjoyable combination of competition, great food and good company.

Key to categories:
- Category 1 - may be entered in standard (buff form) cars of 1500cc or less
- Category 2 - may be entered in standard (buff form) cars of 1501cc or more
- Category 3 - may be entered in modified cars of 1500cc or less
- Category 4 - may be entered in modified cars of 1501cc or more
Classes may be amended and/or further divisions made as appropriate to the entries received. The objective will be to create fair interclass competition.
